Our Journey to Guatemala to bring our son home

Hi everyone, and thank you for stopping by. Well, it was May 5, 2007 Cinco de Mayo. A well celebrated holiday at our house, (for Kelly anyway), this would be the day we finally decided to start our search in Guatemala. We had been trying to conceive for awhile and after attempted fertility treatments, unfortunatly age was just a factor. Alot went into our decision to adopt from Guatemala. Tony wanted a sibling so bad and he is so excited! We hope you will enjoy reading our journal as we travel, and look forward to the pictures we will post. Please keep us in your prayers!

May 21, 2007 - Started our Homestudy
May 28, 2007 - Signed with Agency
June 25, 2007 - Homestudy Complete
July 18, 2007 - INS fingerprints
August 4, 2007 - 171H approval
August 6, 2007 - Dossier to Embassy
August 14, 2007 - Completed Dossier to Agency
August 22, 2007 - Received Referral!
September 14-17 2007 - First Visit and POA
October 25, 2007 - DNA
November 6, 2007 - DNA at Embassy
December 21, 2007 - PA 45days
February 11, 2008 - CA Registration
February 14, 2008 - PGN
March 26, 2008 - PGN OUT!

OMG Kelly this video brought tears to my eyes!! I am so happy for you guys, what an amazing journey. I loved all the pictures. I love how he still makes some of the same faces he did as a baby..he is so precious. He is very lucky to have you guys as you guys are to have him :) We love you guys! Thanks for sharing. Oh and you didn't always wear a black hat ;)
What a great video! I have so enjoyed following your journey and can't wait to meet you all in person.
